A quick and elegant dish featuring tender shrimp in a rich, creamy garlic butter sauce, served over perfectly cooked fluffy rice.

For the Crust:

  • 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 cups cooked jasmine rice
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 1 tbsp olive oil

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Season shrimp with salt, pepper, and paprika. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Cook shrimp for 1-2 minutes per side until pink, then remove and set aside.
  2. In the same skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant. Pour in chicken broth and heavy cream, stirring to combine.
  3. Bring sauce to a simmer, then reduce heat and stir in Parmesan cheese until melted. Return shrimp to the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes until heated through. Garnish with parsley and serve over fluffy rice.
