For the Crust:
- 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 2 tbsp unsalted butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 tsp paprika
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- 2 cups cooked steamed rice
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
- Add shrimp to the skillet and cook until pink and opaque, about 2-3 minutes per side. Remove shrimp and set aside.
- Pour heavy cream and chicken broth into the skillet, stirring to combine. Bring to a simmer and cook for 3-4 minutes until slightly thickened.
- Stir in Parmesan cheese, paprika, salt, and pepper until the sauce is smooth and creamy.
- Return shrimp to the skillet, tossing to coat in the sauce. Cook for an additional 1-2 minutes to heat through.
- Serve the creamy garlic butter shrimp over steamed rice, garnished with fresh parsley.
