For the Crust:
- 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cubed
- 8 oz fettuccine pasta
- 2 cups broccoli florets
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp dried basil
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Cook the fettuccine according to package instructions, adding broccoli florets during the last 3 minutes of cooking. Drain and set aside.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Season chicken with salt, pepper, dried basil, and oregano, then cook until golden and cooked through, about 6-8 minutes. Remove chicken and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add minced garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant. Pour in heavy cream and bring to a simmer, stirring occasionally.
- Stir in grated Parmesan cheese until melted and the sauce thickens slightly. Return chicken and pasta with broccoli to the skillet, tossing to coat evenly in the sauce. Serve warm.
