For the Crust:
- 16 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup chopped green onions
- 1/2 cup chopped pecans
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- 1 red bell pepper, finely chopped (for garnish)
- Assorted crackers for serving
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- In a large mixing bowl, combine softened cream cheese, shredded cheddar, green onions, pecans, parsley, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until well blended.
- Lay a sheet of plastic wrap on a flat surface. Scoop the cheese mixture onto the plastic and shape into a ring (wreath shape), smoothing the surface with a spatula or your hands.
- Wrap the wreath tightly in plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or until firm.
- Before serving, unwrap the cheese wreath and press the chopped red bell pepper pieces around the top to resemble holly berries. Garnish with additional parsley if desired.
- Place the wreath on a serving platter and surround with assorted crackers. Serve chilled.
