Description

Tender chicken breasts simmered in a rich, creamy lemon sauce with garlic and herbs, all cooked in one skillet for an easy and elegant meal.

For the Crust:

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon lemon zest
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Season chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and dried thyme on both sides.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add chicken and cook for 5-7 minutes per side until golden and cooked through. Remove chicken and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add minced garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
  4. Pour in chicken broth, lemon juice, and lemon zest, scraping up any browned bits from the bottom of the skillet.
  5. Stir in heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Cook for 3-4 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
  6. Return chicken to the skillet and spoon the sauce over the top. Simmer for 2-3 minutes to heat through.
  7. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately.

You can customize the seasonings to taste.
