Ingredients
Scale
For the Crust:
- 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp smoked paprika
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1 lb frozen French fries
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1/4 cup chicken broth
- 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C). Arrange frozen French fries on a baking sheet and bake according to package instructions until golden and crispy, about 20-25 minutes.
- In a bowl, toss chicken pieces with olive oil, smoked paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until evenly coated.
- Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the seasoned chicken and cook for 6-8 minutes, stirring occasionally, until browned and cooked through. Remove chicken from skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, reduce heat to medium. Add heavy cream, chicken broth, and Dijon mustard, stirring to combine. Simmer for 3-4 minutes until slightly thickened.
- Stir in Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth. Return chicken to the skillet, tossing to coat in the creamy sauce. Cook for an additional 1-2 minutes to heat through.
- Serve the creamy paprika chicken bites alongside the baked fries. Garnish with fresh parsley and enjoy immediately.
