Description

A comforting and quick pasta dish featuring cheese ravioli in a rich, creamy tomato basil sauce.

For the Crust:

  • 1 lb cheese ravioli (fresh or frozen)
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 (15 oz) can crushed tomatoes
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup fresh basil, chopped
  • 1/2 tsp dried oregano
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Cook the ravioli according to package directions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
  3. Pour in crushed tomatoes, heavy cream, dried oregano, salt, and pepper. Stir well and simmer for 5-7 minutes.
  4. Add cooked ravioli to the skillet, tossing gently to coat in the sauce. Stir in fresh basil and Parmesan cheese.
  5. Cook for another 2-3 minutes until heated through. Serve immediately.

Notes

You can customize the seasonings to taste.
