For the Crust:

  • 1 lb ground beef (80/20 blend)
  • 4 slices thick-cut bacon
  • 4 hamburger buns, toasted
  • 1 large tomato, sliced into 4 rounds
  • 8 dill pickle slices
  • 4 slices cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tbsp ketchup
  • 1 tsp mustard
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Cook bacon in a skillet over medium heat until crispy, about 8-10 minutes. Drain on paper towels.
  2. Form ground beef into 4 patties, season with salt and pepper. Heat oil in the same skillet over medium-high heat and cook patties for 4-5 minutes per side, adding cheese in the last minute to melt.
  3. Mix mayonnaise, ketchup, and mustard in a small bowl to create a tangy sauce.
  4. Assemble burgers: spread sauce on bottom buns, add a beef patty with cheese, then bacon, tomato slice, and pickle slices. Top with the other bun half.
  5. Serve immediately, optionally with extra pickles on the side for garnish.
