Description

Golden, crispy panko-coated bites filled with melted brie and a tangy cranberry center, perfect as an appetizer or snack.

For the Crust:

  • 8 oz brie cheese, cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 1/4 cup cranberry sauce or jam
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs, beaten
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • Vegetable oil for frying

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Place a small dollop of cranberry sauce on each brie cube, pressing gently to adhere.
  2. Dredge each brie cube in flour, shaking off excess, then dip in beaten eggs, and coat thoroughly in panko mixed with garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Heat oil in a deep skillet to 350°F (175°C) and fry bombs in batches for 2-3 minutes until golden brown and crispy.
  4. Remove with a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels. Serve immediately while warm and gooey inside.
