A sweet and savory flatbread featuring crispy brie, juicy pears, tart cranberries, crunchy pecans, and a drizzle of sticky glaze.

For the Crust:

  • 1 large flatbread or naan bread
  • 8 oz brie cheese, sliced
  • 1 ripe pear, thinly sliced
  • 1/4 cup dried cranberries
  • 1/4 cup pecans, toasted
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp balsamic glaze
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • Fresh thyme leaves for garnish
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Place flatbread on a baking sheet and brush lightly with olive oil.
  2. Arrange brie slices evenly over the flatbread, then top with pear slices and dried cranberries.
  3. Bake for 12-15 minutes until the brie is melted and the edges are crispy.
  4. While baking, toast pecans in a dry skillet over medium heat for 3-4 minutes until fragrant.
  5. Remove flatbread from oven, sprinkle with toasted pecans, and drizzle with honey and balsamic glaze.
  6. Garnish with fresh thyme, season with salt and pepper, slice, and serve warm.
