Description

A delightful appetizer featuring crispy flatbread topped with creamy goat cheese, sweet cranberries, crunchy pistachios, and a tangy cranberry jelly.


Ingredients

For the Crust:

  • 1 large flatbread
  • 4 oz goat cheese, crumbled
  • 1/4 cup dried cranberries
  • 1/4 cup shelled pistachios, roughly chopped
  • 1/4 cup cranberry jelly
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp fresh thyme leaves
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Place flatbread on a baking sheet and brush with olive oil.
  2. Bake flatbread for 8-10 minutes until edges are crispy and golden.
  3. Remove from oven and spread cranberry jelly evenly over the flatbread.
  4. Sprinkle crumbled goat cheese, dried cranberries, and chopped pistachios over the top.
  5. Return to oven for 3-5 minutes until cheese is slightly softened.
  6. Garnish with fresh thyme, salt, and pepper. Slice and serve warm.

You can customize the seasonings to taste.
