Description

A sweet and savory flatbread topped with creamy mascarpone, chewy dried apricots, crunchy toasted pecans, and a spicy honey drizzle.

For the Crust:

  • 1 large flatbread or naan
  • 1/2 cup mascarpone cheese
  • 1/4 cup dried apricots, chopped
  • 1/4 cup pecans, toasted and chopped
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt to taste
  • Fresh thyme for garnish (optional)

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Brush the flatbread with olive oil and bake for 8-10 minutes until crispy.
  2. In a small saucepan, warm the honey and red pepper flakes over low heat for 2-3 minutes to infuse. Set aside.
  3. Spread mascarpone evenly over the baked flatbread. Top with chopped dried apricots and toasted pecans.
  4. Drizzle the hot honey over the flatbread. Garnish with fresh thyme and a pinch of salt if desired.
  5. Slice and serve immediately.

Notes

You can customize the seasonings to taste.
