A sweet and savory flatbread topped with creamy ricotta, tender roasted apples, crunchy walnuts, and a spicy honey drizzle.

For the Crust:

  • 1 large flatbread or naan
  • 1 cup whole milk ricotta cheese
  • 1 medium apple, thinly sliced
  • 1/2 cup walnuts, roughly chopped
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Arrange apple slices on a baking sheet, drizzle with olive oil, sprinkle with cinnamon, salt, and pepper. Roast for 15 minutes until tender.
  2. Place flatbread on a baking sheet and bake for 5-7 minutes until crispy.
  3. Spread ricotta evenly over the flatbread. Top with roasted apple slices and chopped walnuts.
  4. In a small saucepan, warm honey and red pepper flakes over low heat for 2-3 minutes. Drizzle the hot honey over the flatbread.
  5. Slice and serve immediately.

You can customize the seasonings to taste.
