Description

A zesty and spicy chicken dish with crispy skin, topped with a tangy hot honey lemon sauce and crumbled feta cheese.

For the Crust:

  • 4 boneless, skin-on chicken breasts
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1 tablespoon hot sauce
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • 1/2 cup crumbled feta cheese
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Pat chicken breasts dry and season both sides with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat. Place chicken skin-side down and cook for 5-7 minutes until skin is crispy and golden brown.
  3. Flip chicken and transfer skillet to the preheated oven. Bake for 15-20 minutes until chicken is cooked through (internal temperature 165°F).
  4. While chicken bakes, whisk together honey, hot sauce, and lemon juice in a small bowl.
  5. Remove chicken from oven and drizzle with the hot honey lemon sauce. Sprinkle crumbled feta cheese over the top.
  6. Return skillet to oven for 2-3 minutes until feta is slightly melted. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.

Notes

You can customize the seasonings to taste.
