Description

Golden, crunchy artichoke hearts coated in a savory Parmesan and breadcrumb crust, perfect as an appetizer or snack.


Ingredients

For the Crust:

  • 1 (14 oz) can artichoke hearts, drained and patted dry
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs, beaten
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt to taste

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a shallow bowl, mix Parmesan, panko, garlic powder, paprika, and pepper. Place flour in another bowl and beaten eggs in a third.
  3. Dredge each artichoke heart in flour, dip in egg, then coat evenly with the Parmesan mixture. Place on baking sheet.
  4. Drizzle or spray with olive oil. Bake for 20-25 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden and crispy.
  5. Remove from oven, sprinkle with salt if desired, and serve warm with your favorite dipping sauce.

Notes

You can customize the seasonings to taste.
