Description
Tender chicken breasts coated in a crispy parmesan and breadcrumb crust, served with a rich and velvety creamy garlic sauce.
Ingredients
Scale
For the Crust:
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 cup grated parmesan cheese
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- For the sauce: 1 cup heavy cream
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Pound chicken breasts to an even thickness and season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.
- Set up a breading station: place flour in one shallow dish, beaten eggs in another, and a mixture of breadcrumbs and parmesan cheese in a third.
- Dredge each chicken breast in flour, dip in egg, then coat thoroughly with the parmesan-breadcrumb mixture.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Cook chicken for 5-7 minutes per side, until golden brown and cooked through. Set aside.
- For the sauce: In the same skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
- Pour in heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Stir in parmesan cheese until melted and sauce thickens slightly. Stir in parsley.
