For the Crust:
- 1 lb Brussels sprouts, trimmed
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Boil Brussels sprouts in salted water for 10 minutes until tender, then drain and let cool slightly.
- Place sprouts on the baking sheet, smash each with the bottom of a glass or jar to flatten.
- Drizzle with olive oil, sprinkle with Parmesan, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Roast for 20-25 minutes until crispy and golden brown.
- Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
