Description

Golden, crispy potato balls stuffed with gooey cheese and drizzled with a rich garlic butter sauce.

Ingredients

Scale

For the Crust:

  • 4 large potatoes, peeled and boiled
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Vegetable oil for frying

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Mash the boiled potatoes in a large bowl and season with salt and pepper.
  2. Take a small portion of mashed potato, flatten it, and place a cube of mozzarella in the center. Enclose the cheese completely with the potato, forming a ball.
  3. Roll each ball in flour, dip in beaten egg, then coat with breadcrumbs.
  4. Heat oil in a deep pan to 350°F (175°C) and fry the potato balls until golden brown and crispy, about 3-4 minutes.
  5. In a small saucepan, melt butter over low heat, add minced garlic and parsley, and cook for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  6. Drizzle the garlic butter over the crispy potato bombs before serving.

Notes

You can customize the seasonings to taste.
