Description

Thinly sliced sweet potatoes are stacked with creamy brie, baked until crispy, and topped with tangy cranberry jam and spicy hot honey for a festive, flavorful appetizer.

For the Crust:

  • 2 large sweet potatoes, peeled and thinly sliced into rounds
  • 4 oz brie cheese, thinly sliced
  • 1/2 cup cranberry jam
  • 1/4 cup hot honey
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Fresh thyme for garnish

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Lightly grease a muffin tin.
  2. In a bowl, toss sweet potato slices with olive oil, smoked paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Layer 3-4 sweet potato slices in each muffin cup, adding a small piece of brie between layers. Repeat to fill each cup.
  4. Bake for 25-30 minutes until potatoes are crispy and tender.
  5. Remove from oven and let cool slightly. Top each stack with a dollop of cranberry jam and a drizzle of hot honey.
  6. Garnish with fresh thyme and serve warm.

Notes

You can customize the seasonings to taste.
