Description

A festive, slow-cooked jam combining tart cranberries and sweet strawberries, perfect for holiday gift-giving or breakfast spreads.

For the Crust:

  • 4 cups fresh cranberries
  • 2 cups hulled and chopped strawberries
  • 3 cups granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Combine cranberries, strawberries, sugar, water, and lemon juice in a crockpot.
  2. Cook on low for 4-5 hours, stirring occasionally, until fruit has broken down and jam thickens.
  3. Stir in vanilla extract during the last 30 minutes of cooking.
  4. Allow jam to cool slightly before transferring to sterilized jars.
