Description

A comforting one-bowl meal featuring tender chicken, fresh broccoli, and pasta in a rich, creamy garlic Parmesan sauce.

For the Crust:

  • 8 oz penne pasta
  • 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cubed
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp dried Italian seasoning
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Cook the penne pasta according to package instructions until al dente, adding broccoli florets during the last 3 minutes of cooking. Drain and set aside.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Season chicken with salt and pepper, then cook until golden and cooked through, about 6-8 minutes. Remove chicken and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant. Pour in heavy cream, bring to a simmer, then stir in Parmesan cheese and Italian seasoning until smooth.
  4. Return cooked chicken, pasta, and broccoli to the skillet. Toss everything together until well coated and heated through. Season with additional salt and pepper if needed.
  5. Serve immediately, garnished with fresh parsley and extra Parmesan cheese if desired.
