A comforting one-pan dish featuring tender herb-seasoned chicken and cheese-filled tortellini in a rich, creamy garlic Parmesan sauce.

For the Crust:

  • 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1 (20 oz) package cheese tortellini
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp dried Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Season chicken pieces with Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add chicken and cook until browned and cooked through, about 6-8 minutes. Remove chicken and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
  4. Pour in chicken broth and heavy cream, stirring to combine. Bring to a simmer.
  5. Add tortellini to the skillet, reduce heat to medium, and cook according to package instructions until tender, about 8-10 minutes.
  6. Stir in Parmesan cheese until melted and sauce thickens slightly.
  7. Return chicken to the skillet and toss to coat in the sauce. Cook for 2-3 minutes until heated through.
  8. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve warm.

You can customize the seasonings to taste.
