For the Crust:
- 1 1/2 cups chocolate cookie crumbs
- 6 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
- 8 ounces dark chocolate, chopped
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup caramel sauce
- 1/2 cup hazelnuts, toasted and chopped
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Mix chocolate cookie crumbs with melted butter and press into a 9-inch tart pan. Bake for 10 minutes, then let cool.
- Heat heavy cream until simmering, pour over chopped dark chocolate, and stir until smooth. Pour into cooled crust and refrigerate for 1 hour.
- Beat cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth. Spread over set chocolate layer. Drizzle with caramel sauce and sprinkle with toasted hazelnuts before serving.
