Description

Savory, chewy, and high-protein bagels made with cottage cheese for a nutritious twist on the classic everything bagel.

For the Crust:

  • 1 cup cottage cheese
  • 1 cup self-rising flour
  • 1 large egg, beaten
  • 2 tablespoons everything bagel seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, mix cottage cheese, self-rising flour, beaten egg, garlic powder, and salt until a dough forms.
  3. Divide dough into 4 equal portions, shape into bagels, and press tops into everything bagel seasoning.
  4. Place bagels on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 25-30 minutes until golden and firm.
  5. Let cool slightly before serving.
