A show-stopping appetizer with layers of flaky phyllo, creamy brie, and sweet-tart cranberry sauce, perfect for holiday gatherings.


Ingredients

For the Crust:

  • 1 sheet frozen phyllo dough, thawed
  • 8 oz brie cheese, rind removed and sliced
  • 1/2 cup cranberry sauce
  • 1/4 cup chopped pecans
  • 3 tbsp melted butter
  • 1 tbsp fresh thyme leaves
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly brush a baking sheet with melted butter.
  2. Layer 4 sheets of phyllo dough on the prepared sheet, brushing each with melted butter.
  3. Arrange brie slices evenly over the phyllo, then spoon cranberry sauce on top. Sprinkle with pecans, thyme, salt, and pepper.
  4. Top with 4 more phyllo sheets, brushing each with butter. Tuck in any edges and brush the top with remaining butter.
  5. Bake for 20-25 minutes, until golden and crisp. Let cool for 5 minutes before slicing and serving.
