For the Crust:
- 1 sheet frozen phyllo dough, thawed
- 8 oz brie cheese, rind removed and sliced
- 1/2 cup cranberry sauce
- 1/4 cup chopped pecans
- 3 tbsp melted butter
- 1 tbsp fresh thyme leaves
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly brush a baking sheet with melted butter.
- Layer 4 sheets of phyllo dough on the prepared sheet, brushing each with melted butter.
- Arrange brie slices evenly over the phyllo, then spoon cranberry sauce on top. Sprinkle with pecans, thyme, salt, and pepper.
- Top with 4 more phyllo sheets, brushing each with butter. Tuck in any edges and brush the top with remaining butter.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, until golden and crisp. Let cool for 5 minutes before slicing and serving.
