Description

Flaky puff pastry twists filled with creamy feta, topped with crunchy pistachios, and drizzled with spicy hot honey for a perfect sweet and savory bite.

For the Crust:

  • 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
  • 1/2 cup crumbled feta cheese
  • 1/4 cup shelled pistachios, finely chopped
  • 2 tbsp hot honey
  • 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Roll out the puff pastry sheet and sprinkle evenly with crumbled feta cheese and black pepper.
  3. Fold the pastry in half lengthwise and cut into 1-inch strips. Twist each strip and place on the baking sheet.
  4. Brush the twists with beaten egg and sprinkle with chopped pistachios.
  5. Bake for 15-18 minutes or until golden brown and puffed.
  6. Drizzle with hot honey and sprinkle with red pepper flakes (if using) while still warm.

Notes

You can customize the seasonings to taste.
