Description

A quick and spicy stir-fry featuring tender chicken, crisp bell peppers, and a bold garlic-chili sauce, served over fluffy steamed rice.

For the Crust:

  • 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breast, thinly sliced
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 green bell pepper, sliced
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon chili garlic sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch mixed with 2 tablespoons water
  • 2 cups cooked steamed rice
  • Green onions, sliced for garnish

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Heat vegetable oil in a large wok or skillet over high heat. Add chicken and stir-fry until cooked through, about 5-7 minutes. Remove and set aside.
  2. In the same wok, add garlic and stir-fry for 30 seconds until fragrant. Add bell peppers and cook for 3-4 minutes until slightly tender.
  3. Return chicken to the wok. Stir in soy sauce, chili garlic sauce, and sesame oil. Cook for 1 minute.
  4. Add cornstarch slurry and stir until sauce thickens, about 1-2 minutes.
  5. Serve immediately over steamed rice, garnished with green onions.

Notes

You can customize the seasonings to taste.
