Description

A gourmet flatbread featuring sweet fig jam, creamy goat cheese, crunchy walnuts, and fresh arugula, finished with a drizzle of balsamic glaze.


Ingredients

For the Crust:

  • 1 pre-made flatbread or pizza crust
  • 1/2 cup fig jam
  • 4 oz goat cheese, crumbled
  • 1/2 cup walnuts, roughly chopped
  • 2 cups fresh arugula
  • 2 tbsp fresh herbs (such as thyme or rosemary), chopped
  • 2 tbsp balsamic glaze
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Place flatbread on a baking sheet.
  2. Spread fig jam evenly over the flatbread, leaving a small border around the edges.
  3. Sprinkle crumbled goat cheese and chopped walnuts over the jam.
  4. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are golden and cheese is slightly melted.
  5. Remove from oven and let cool for 2-3 minutes.
  6. Top with fresh arugula, drizzle with olive oil and balsamic glaze, and garnish with fresh herbs. Season with salt and pepper before serving.

Notes

You can customize the seasonings to taste.
