For the Crust:
- 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
- 8 oz brie cheese, rind removed and sliced
- 1/2 cup dried cranberries
- 1/2 cup walnuts, toasted and chopped
- 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
- 1 tbsp honey
- Fresh thyme leaves for garnish
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Roll out the puff pastry sheet on the prepared baking sheet. Lightly score a 1-inch border around the edges without cutting all the way through.
- Brush the pastry border with the beaten egg. Arrange brie slices evenly inside the border, then sprinkle with cranberries and walnuts.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, until pastry is puffed and golden. Drizzle with honey and garnish with fresh thyme before serving.
