Description

A quick and vibrant stir-fry featuring tender chicken, crisp bell peppers, and a savory sauce, served over fluffy steamed rice.

For the Crust:

  • 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breast, thinly sliced
  • 2 bell peppers (any color), sliced
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 1 tsp cornstarch
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Cooked steamed rice for serving

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. In a bowl, toss chicken with soy sauce, oyster sauce, sesame oil, and cornstarch. Let marinate for 10 minutes.
  2. Heat vegetable oil in a large pan or wok over high heat. Add chicken and stir-fry until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes. Remove and set aside.
  3. In the same pan, add onion and bell peppers. Stir-fry until crisp-tender, about 4-5 minutes. Add garlic and cook for 1 minute more.
  4. Return chicken to the pan, stir to combine, and cook for another 2 minutes until heated through. Season with salt and pepper.
  5. Serve immediately over steamed rice.

You can customize the seasonings to taste.
