A gluten-free, airy bread alternative made with cottage cheese and egg whites for a light, fluffy texture perfect for low-carb diets.

For the Crust:

  • 3 large eggs, separated
  • 1/2 cup cottage cheese
  • 1/4 teaspoon cream of tartar
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking powder

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Preheat oven to 300°F (150°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, whisk egg whites with cream of tartar until stiff peaks form.
  3. In another bowl, blend cottage cheese, egg yolks, salt, and baking powder until smooth.
  4. Gently fold the egg yolk mixture into the whipped egg whites until just combined.
  5. Spoon the batter into 6 mounds on the baking sheet and bake for 25-30 minutes until golden and firm.
