For the Crust:
- 3 large eggs, separated
- 1/2 cup cottage cheese
- 1/4 teaspoon cream of tartar
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Preheat oven to 300°F (150°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, whisk egg whites with cream of tartar until stiff peaks form.
- In another bowl, blend cottage cheese, egg yolks, salt, and baking powder until smooth.
- Gently fold the egg yolk mixture into the whipped egg whites until just combined.
- Spoon the batter into 6 mounds on the baking sheet and bake for 25-30 minutes until golden and firm.
