A rustic, savory-sweet galette featuring creamy brie, tart cranberries, and crunchy walnuts, all drizzled with a spicy honey for a perfect balance of flavors.

For the Crust:

  • 1 pre-made pie crust (or homemade)
  • 8 oz brie cheese, sliced
  • 1 cup fresh or frozen cranberries
  • 1/2 cup walnuts, toasted and chopped
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1 tsp red pepper flakes
  • 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Roll out pie crust on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  2. Arrange brie slices in the center of the crust, leaving a 2-inch border. Top with cranberries and toasted walnuts.
  3. Fold the edges of the crust over the filling, pleating as you go. Brush crust with egg wash.
  4. Bake for 25-30 minutes until crust is golden and filling is bubbly.
  5. While baking, heat honey and red pepper flakes in a small saucepan over low heat until warm and infused.
  6. Drizzle hot honey over the galette after baking. Let cool slightly before serving.
