For the Crust:
- 1 pound large sea scallops
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Lemon wedges for serving
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Lightly grease a baking dish.
- Pat scallops dry and arrange in a single layer in the baking dish.
- In a small bowl, mix melted butter, minced garlic, lemon juice, salt, and pepper. Pour over scallops.
- Sprinkle Parmesan cheese evenly over the top.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes, until scallops are opaque and cooked through.
- Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately with lemon wedges.
