Description

Tender sea scallops baked in a rich garlic butter sauce with a hint of lemon and herbs.


Ingredients

For the Crust:

  • 1 lb large sea scallops, patted dry
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 1 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and lightly grease a baking dish.
  2. In a bowl, mix melted butter, minced garlic, lemon juice, salt, and pepper.
  3. Arrange scallops in the baking dish and pour the garlic butter mixture over them.
  4. Sprinkle panko breadcrumbs and Parmesan cheese evenly over the scallops.
  5. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until scallops are opaque and breadcrumbs are golden.
  6. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately.

Notes

You can customize the seasonings to taste.
