Description

Tender sea scallops baked in a rich garlic butter sauce with a golden, crispy topping.


Ingredients

For the Crust:

  • 1 lb large sea scallops, patted dry
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1/4 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Lemon wedges for serving

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Lightly grease a baking dish.
  2. In a bowl, combine melted butter, minced garlic, lemon juice, salt, and pepper. Toss scallops in the mixture until coated.
  3. Arrange scallops in the baking dish. Sprinkle panko breadcrumbs evenly over the top.
  4. Bake for 12-15 minutes, until scallops are opaque and breadcrumbs are golden.
  5. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately with lemon wedges.

Notes

You can customize the seasonings to taste.
