Description

Tender sea scallops baked in a rich garlic butter sauce with a hint of lemon and herbs.


Ingredients

For the Crust:

  • 1 lb large sea scallops, patted dry
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 1 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Lightly grease a baking dish.
  2. In a bowl, mix melted butter, minced garlic, lemon juice, salt, and pepper.
  3. Arrange scallops in the baking dish and pour the garlic butter mixture over them.
  4. In a small bowl, combine panko breadcrumbs and Parmesan cheese, then sprinkle over the scallops.
  5. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until scallops are opaque and topping is golden.
  6. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately.

Notes

You can customize the seasonings to taste.
