Description

A rich and creamy pasta dish featuring tender chicken, sautéed mushrooms, and a garlic-infused cream sauce.

For the Crust:

  • 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cubed
  • 8 oz fettuccine pasta
  • 2 cups sliced mushrooms
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp dried thyme
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Cook the fettuccine according to package instructions until al dente, then drain and set aside.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add chicken cubes, season with salt and pepper, and cook until browned and cooked through, about 6-8 minutes. Remove chicken and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add mushrooms and sauté until softened, about 5 minutes. Add minced garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
  4. Reduce heat to medium-low. Pour in heavy cream and stir in Parmesan cheese and dried thyme. Simmer for 3-4 minutes until sauce thickens slightly.
  5. Return cooked chicken to the skillet and add the drained pasta. Toss everything together until well coated and heated through.
  6. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately.

Notes

You can customize the seasonings to taste.
