For the Crust:
- 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 2 cups cooked white rice
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped for garnish
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Heat olive oil and butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
- Add shrimp to the skillet, season with paprika, salt, and pepper, and cook until pink, about 3-4 minutes per side.
- Pour in heavy cream and bring to a simmer, stirring occasionally.
- Stir in Parmesan cheese until melted and the sauce thickens slightly.
- Serve the garlic cream shrimp over cooked rice, garnished with fresh parsley.
