Description
A quick and savory stir-fry featuring tender chicken, crisp broccoli, and earthy mushrooms in a garlicky soy-based sauce.
Ingredients
Scale
For the Crust:
- 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 2 cups broccoli florets
- 1 cup sliced mushrooms (such as cremini or shiitake)
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp oyster sauce
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- 1 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1 tsp cornstarch mixed with 1 tbsp water
- Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add chicken pieces and cook until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add a bit more oil if needed. Stir-fry broccoli and mushrooms for 4-5 minutes until tender-crisp. Add minced garlic and cook for another minute until fragrant.
- Return chicken to the skillet. Pour in soy sauce, oyster sauce, sesame oil, and chicken broth. Bring to a simmer.
- Stir in the cornstarch slurry and cook until the sauce thickens, about 1-2 minutes. Season with salt and pepper.
- Garnish with sliced green onions and serve hot over rice or noodles.
