Description

A delightful appetizer featuring flaky puff pastry wrapped around creamy feta, baked until golden, and drizzled with a sweet-tart cranberry honey sauce.


Ingredients

For the Crust:

  • 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
  • 8 oz feta cheese, crumbled
  • 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
  • 1/2 cup fresh cranberries
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tsp fresh thyme leaves
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Olive oil for brushing

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Roll out puff pastry on a lightly floured surface. Cut into 8 equal rectangles.
  3. Place a spoonful of crumbled feta in the center of each rectangle. Fold pastry over filling, sealing edges with a fork. Brush with egg wash.
  4. Bake for 20-25 minutes until puffed and golden brown.
  5. While baking, combine cranberries, honey, and lemon juice in a small saucepan. Simmer over medium heat until cranberries burst and sauce thickens, about 10 minutes. Stir in thyme.
  6. Serve rolls warm, drizzled with cranberry honey sauce.
