Description

A sweet and savory flatbread topped with creamy goat cheese, tart dried cherries, and crunchy maple-roasted walnuts.

For the Crust:

  • 1 pre-made flatbread crust
  • 4 oz goat cheese, crumbled
  • 1/2 cup dried cherries
  • 1 cup walnuts
  • 2 tbsp maple syrup
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp fresh thyme leaves
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Toss walnuts with maple syrup and spread on a baking sheet. Roast for 8-10 minutes until fragrant and golden.
  2. Brush flatbread crust with olive oil and season lightly with salt and pepper.
  3. Sprinkle crumbled goat cheese evenly over the flatbread, then top with dried cherries and roasted walnuts.
  4. Bake for 12-15 minutes until the crust is golden and cheese is slightly melted.
  5. Remove from oven, garnish with fresh thyme, slice, and serve warm.

Notes

You can customize the seasonings to taste.
