Description

A vibrant and elegant flatbread featuring roasted golden beets, creamy brie, and a drizzle of orange-honey, topped with crunchy toasted almonds.

For the Crust:

  • 1 large golden beet, peeled and thinly sliced
  • 1 pre-made flatbread crust
  • 4 oz brie cheese, sliced
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp fresh orange juice
  • 1/4 cup sliced almonds, toasted
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp fresh thyme leaves
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Toss sliced beets with 1 tbsp olive oil, salt, and pepper. Roast for 20 minutes until tender.
  2. Brush flatbread crust with remaining olive oil. Arrange roasted beets and brie slices evenly over the crust.
  3. Bake flatbread for 8-10 minutes until crust is golden and cheese is melted.
  4. Whisk together honey and orange juice. Drizzle over baked flatbread, then sprinkle with toasted almonds and fresh thyme.
  5. Slice and serve warm.

Notes

You can customize the seasonings to taste.
