Description

Elegant layers of sweet caramelized pears and creamy burrata cheese, drizzled with honey and topped with toasted walnuts for a sophisticated appetizer or light meal.


Ingredients

For the Crust:

  • 2 ripe but firm pears, cored and sliced into 1/4-inch rounds
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 8 ounces burrata cheese, drained
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1/4 cup toasted walnuts, chopped
  • Fresh mint leaves for garnish
  • Salt to taste

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add pear slices in a single layer and sprinkle with brown sugar and cinnamon. Cook for 3-4 minutes per side until golden and caramelized.
  2. Remove pears from skillet and let cool slightly. Arrange a layer of caramelized pears on each serving plate.
  3. Carefully place a portion of burrata cheese on top of the pear layer. Repeat to form a second layer if desired.
  4. Drizzle each tower with honey and sprinkle with toasted walnuts. Garnish with fresh mint leaves and a pinch of salt before serving.

Notes

You can customize the seasonings to taste.
