For the Crust:
- 2 ripe but firm pears, cored and sliced into 1/4-inch rounds
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
- 8 ounces burrata cheese, drained
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 1/4 cup toasted walnuts, chopped
- Fresh mint leaves for garnish
- Salt to taste
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add pear slices in a single layer and sprinkle with brown sugar and cinnamon. Cook for 3-4 minutes per side until golden and caramelized.
- Remove pears from skillet and let cool slightly. Arrange a layer of caramelized pears on each serving plate.
- Carefully place a portion of burrata cheese on top of the pear layer. Repeat to form a second layer if desired.
- Drizzle each tower with honey and sprinkle with toasted walnuts. Garnish with fresh mint leaves and a pinch of salt before serving.
