For the Crust:
- 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
- 8 oz burrata cheese
- 1/2 cup fresh figs, sliced
- 1/4 cup shelled pistachios, chopped
- 2 tbsp honey
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp fresh thyme leaves
- 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Roll out puff pastry into a large circle on the prepared baking sheet. Use a small bowl to lightly indent a circle in the center, leaving a 3-inch border.
- Arrange burrata in the center indentation. Top with figs and pistachios. Drizzle with honey and olive oil, then sprinkle with thyme, salt, and pepper.
- Fold the outer edges of the pastry over the filling, pleating as needed to form a wreath shape. Brush the pastry with egg wash.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown. Let cool slightly before serving.
