Description

Golden, gooey, and sparkling with festive flavors, these cranberry-topped brie bites are the perfect holiday appetizer.

For the Crust:

  • 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
  • 1 wheel (8 oz) brie cheese, rind removed and cut into small cubes
  • 1/2 cup cranberry sauce
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1 tsp fresh thyme leaves
  • 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
  • Coarse sugar, for sprinkling

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Cut puff pastry into 2-inch squares and press into a mini muffin tin. Place a cube of brie in each pastry cup.
  3. Top each with a small spoonful of cranberry sauce. Drizzle with honey and sprinkle with thyme.
  4. Brush edges of pastry with egg wash and sprinkle with coarse sugar. Bake for 12-15 minutes until golden and bubbly.
  5. Let cool slightly before serving warm.

Notes

You can customize the seasonings to taste.
