A delightful appetizer featuring flaky puff pastry puffs filled with sweet caramelized pears and creamy brie, finished with a warm honey drizzle.

For the Crust:
- 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
- 2 ripe pears, peeled and sliced
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 4 ounces brie cheese, rind removed and cubed
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1 teaspoon fresh thyme leaves
- 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
- Powdered sugar for dusting
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Roll out puff pastry and cut into 12 squares. Place a few slices of caramelized pear and a cube of brie in the center of each square. Fold corners to the center, pinching to seal. Brush with egg wash.
- Bake for 15-18 minutes until puffed and golden. Meanwhile, warm honey in a small saucepan over low heat.
- Drizzle warm honey over baked puffs, sprinkle with thyme, and dust with powdered sugar before serving.
