A vibrant and creamy hummus topped with classic Greek ingredients like feta, olives, and fresh herbs for a flavorful appetizer or snack.

For the Crust:

  • 1 can (15 oz) chickpeas, drained and rinsed
  • 1/4 cup tahini
  • 3 tbsp fresh lemon juice
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 cup crumbled feta cheese
  • 1/4 cup chopped Kalamata olives
  • 1/4 cup diced cucumber
  • 2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
  • 1 tbsp chopped fresh dill
  • 1/2 tsp dried oregano

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. In a food processor, combine chickpeas, tahini, lemon juice, garlic, 2 tbsp olive oil, salt, and pepper. Blend until smooth and creamy, scraping down the sides as needed.
  2. Spread the hummus evenly on a serving plate or shallow bowl.
  3. Top with crumbled feta, Kalamata olives, diced cucumber, parsley, dill, and a sprinkle of dried oregano.
  4. Drizzle with the remaining 1 tbsp olive oil just before serving.
  5. Serve immediately with pita bread, crackers, or fresh vegetables.

Notes

You can customize the seasonings to taste.
