Description

A delicious and savory Greek twist on classic hummus, topped with fresh vegetables and herbs.


Ingredients

For the Crust:

  • 1 can (15 oz) chickpeas, drained and rinsed
  • 1/4 cup tahini
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/4 cup diced cucumber
  • 1/4 cup diced tomatoes
  • 2 tablespoons sliced Kalamata olives
  • 2 tablespoons crumbled feta cheese
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. In a food processor, blend the chickpeas, tahini, olive oil, lemon juice, garlic, cumin, salt, and pepper until smooth.
  2. Transfer the hummus to a serving platter and spread it evenly.
  3. Top the hummus with cucumber, tomatoes, olives, feta, and parsley.

Notes

You can customize the seasonings to taste.
