For the Crust:
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup pitted green olives, roughly chopped
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
- Optional: 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes for heat
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- In a medium mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, sour cream, and mayonnaise until smooth and well blended.
- Fold in the chopped green olives, minced garlic, lemon juice, oregano, black pepper, and red pepper flakes (if using). Mix until evenly distributed.
- Stir in the chopped parsley. Taste and adjust seasoning if needed. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour to allow flavors to meld.
- Serve chilled with crackers, sliced vegetables, or crusty bread. Enjoy!
