For the Crust:
- 1 lb ground beef
- 2 medium zucchinis, sliced
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 cup marinara sauce (no sugar added)
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tbsp olive oil
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add onion and garlic, sauté until softened.
- Add ground beef, cook until browned. Drain excess fat.
- Stir in marinara sauce, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 5 minutes.
- Layer sliced zucchini in a baking dish, top with beef mixture, then sprinkle with mozzarella and Parmesan.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until cheese is golden and zucchini is tender.
